North Foreland in Kent is one of the most popular seaside golf courses in the country. Situated on the picturesque Kent coast, North Foreland offers two exceptional all-year-round golf courses, complemented by professional clubhouse facilities to match.
In the hundred years since it was founded - North Foreland was founded back in 1903 - the Golf Club has successfully adapted to the times and now addresses the needs of the 21st-century golfer. The Northcliffe course provides the opportunity for player to hone their short game on holes that vary in distance from 50 to 140 yards. It could be assumed that a course with par-three holes can easily be tackled, but over the years, the Northcliffe course has lulled many players into a false sense of security.

The Main course comprises of four par 3, three par 5 and eleven par 4 holes. While the broad fairways instil a sense of relaxation and tee-shot confidence, don’t be fooled as strategically placed bunkers lie in wait. That all-important second shot needs careful thought, as making and holding the greens is deceptively tricky.

Wunderschöner Platz, gut gepflegt mit herrlicher Aussicht! Sehr freundliches Personal im hervorragend sortierten Proshop, nettem Restaurant mit Balkon und Fairwayhaus. Auch der 9-Loch-Par3-Course bietet tolle Trainingsmöglichkeiten für kleines Geld. Wir haben diese Plätze in den letzten Jahren mehrmals gespielt und sind jedes Mal restlos begeistert. Main Course
Leuke golfbaan waarbij er afwisseling is tussen linkse holes en meer parkbaan holes.
De baan is niet zo gemakkelijk, de wind kan het spel serieus beinvloeden maar ook de hoogteverschillen hebben hun bepalende factor.
De fairways waren steenhard (meters winnen), terwijl de greens vrij technisch waren maren niet supersnel.
Ik kan ook zeggen de rough is tough, dus wegbli…

You can see the sea from every tee. The bunkers appear to be of different depth as some appear normal but others seem to be lacking sand.
