Geweldige baan en omgeving. Vandaag de 3e ronde in 2 dagen tijd gespeeld hier en zou morgen weer willen spelen. De ene hole nog mooier dan de andere. What a golf course! Unquestionably my favourite in the area that is a reasonable price to play. Some incredible golf holes and beautiful views (especially around sunrise and dusk). The food is always excellent and the brekkie is top-class!

Excellent old golf course.

Hankley Common staat in de top 30 van de U.K. en Ierland, en is zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Helaas was de 11e hole door vandalisme beschadigd en hebben we 9A in plaats van de 11e gespeeld. De baan beoordelingen die ik had gelezen gingen over de weidse indruk en het linksgevoel dat je hier zou krijgen, dus ik was verbaasd over de hoeveelheid begroeiing die wij aantroffen. Hankley common is the most southern of the great Surrey courses. A wonderful heathland course set on a large property the course has a very open feeling and is built on a grand scale. Hankley Common is een prachtige Heathland course waar ook menig Open qualifier is gehouden. De baan is zeer ruim opgezet en zeker op de tweede 9 waan je je midden op de heide in the middle of nowhere omdat de bewoonde wereld niet meer zichtbaar is. Schitterende holes maar niet gemakkelijk. Het clubhuis is niet geweldig maar je kwam om te golfen en dat is hier nog ouderwets engels. Mooie heidebaan die heel ruim is opgezet, plaats genoeg hier. Geen heen en terug holes maar de baan kruist zich door het landschap wat een gevoel geeft of je alleen op de baan bent. Goede holes en goed onderhouden maar dit is normaal hier.

Top 30 baan in engeland en Niet voor niets Zo veel ruimte, Heidebaan en Heide is alles wat je ziet.
