It was my 1st time to play this course, the course offers 3 x 9's of these the blue and yellow would be the recommend way to go, but we played blue and red the red offering 1 par3 snd 1 par5, as the yellow had much better layout of holes. Popular enough course which seem busy at 8:30am, we didn't stay so can't comment on the club house which also seem busy when we had finished our round, This course is ideal for scoiety club outings, not a long course by todays standards so woild be enjoyable by all.

But there are also many lovely parkland courses in Leinster, like Killeen Castle, The K Club, Mount Juliet Estate, Druids Glen and Wicklow Golf Club, which is basically a parkland clifftop course. So, there is enough variety in Leinster for all type of golfers. 

In and around Dublin the green fee prices can be high, but a little bit further inland or further away, the prices drop quickly. Combine a golf trip to Leinster with some nightlife in Dublin and you'll have a great golf break. 

Getting to Leinster is easy. Dublin Airport is located in this province and is located just 10km north of Dublin City Centre. There are several transport options for those travelling to Dublin City Centre and beyond. 

Leinster is one of the four provinces of Ireland and is situated in the east of Ireland. The traditional flag of Leinster features a golden harp on a green background. The capital city of Ireland - Dublin - lies in this province. The Royal Curragh Golf Club - located in County Kildare - is Ireland's oldest golf course and the oldest in Leinster. There is proof that golf was first played on the plains of the Curragh iin 1852.

The Royal Dublin Golf Club, founded in 1885, is the oldest golf club in County Dublin and Ireland's second oldest golf club. Its 18-hole links golf course is located on Bull Island. The best golf courses in County Dublin lie along the coast, starting at Bull Island, along Howth and up the coast to Skerries. Top golf courses which definitely deserve a visit when in County Dublin are: Royal Dublin, Portmarnock Golf Club and its neighbour Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links, The Island Golf Club and Howth Golf Club.
