Afgelopen weekend rondje noord Schotland mogen doen. eerst naar mijn eigen club, daarna Tain, Nairn en als laatste Blairgowry. Dit is traditionele 18-holes linksbaan van Schotland, gelegen aan zee. Played here in the pouring rain so didn’t have the best day. It’s a stunning course but it broke me and my 6 iron. Need to go back and overcome some demons.

Has always been known historically for it’s greens. Just completed Phase 1 of the renovation Holes: 1,7,14: new greens Number 1: moved the green into the sea (60 yards back and right). Mooie ruige linkscourse die aandoet alsof hij er altijd heeft gelegen. Gezien de leeftijd van de baan, zou dat zomaar kunnen. It was early in the season, and the course had gone through considerable work. So, greens were extremely slow and uneven, and there were too many GUR areas. I'd love to play it again in good conditions. Not sure we got any kind of a rebate for playing in these conditions.

Nairn is a nice golf course to play if you’re staying close or if you’re on a circuit that will lead you to Castle Stuart and Royal Dornoch. The greens are perfect and you’ll play a few holes along the coast, which is really enjoyable. If the wind blows (unfortunately it did (a lot) for me, twice) you’ll need patience and you’ll have to forget the scorecard.

Stunning golf course. The views are amazing all throughout the first 10 fairways until the white ice house is found. Nairn tiene dos campos; Nairn, y Nairn Dunbar. Fantastische links zoals het moet zijn. Schitterende holes met perfecte greens. Prachtige zeezichten. Een klassieke topbaan. Hier kom ik zeker terug!

Perfect links. Stop at historical halfway house. Great view from tees at nr. 11. Play 9 holes at Cameron Course as a practising.

Great classic links design that won't disappoint. Maintenance very good and as you can expect from a classic links course relatively flat but subtle greens. Great to play alongside Dornoch and Castle Stuart when visiting the inverness area. Hospitality was great, but hey we are talking Scotland!

Leuke baan met de eerste holes langs de zee, het strand is op twee holes zelfs in play! Halverwege gaat baan de heuvels in en komt dan weer terug. Dit geeft een grote variatie aan holes. Onderhoud, ontvangst, oefenfaciliteiten een van de beste in Schotland. Tip: bestel een cappuccino met het clublogo van cacao!

Linksgolfbaan op niveau! Tevens onze laatste golfbaan van onze golfreis. 18 holes lang uitdaging gecombineerd met mooie panorama's van de omgeving! Hoge kwaliteit greens, fairways, teeboxen, etc, etc! Een uiterst vriendelijke starter gaf ons op hole 1 alle informatie die nodig is om een leuke ronde te lopen! Na afloop heerlijk gegeten in het zeer mooie clubhuis van Nairn… Plus
