Falkenberg GK has it's clubhouse up on a hill looking down on all 27 holes. The 18 hole course is a real gem! It was built in 1961(the club is from 1949 though) so all the trees around it are fully grown and it is just great to walk down the fairways of it. Greenfee is 400 swedish kr, about 40€'s and it is very well spent money! It starts with a downhill par 5 reachable in 2, OB on the right and some trees on the left. After that it gets a lot tougher, index 1,3 and 5 comes straight after... It's a little bit hilly parkland/forrest course with a lot of raised greens. Not a very long course at 6100m from the back and 5750m for men and 4830 for the ladies. The greens are pretty flat but since the whole green is sloping you still have to be on the correct spot on the green. Clubhouse is nice and filled with friendly staff. The lunch was great, the beers too! I played the 9 hole course too and it's a little bit easier. The condition on it is not as great as on the 18 hole course but the greens were still great. A great day on the course and if you are passing by, stop and play golf. Great value for money.
