Perfect conditions on the oldest golf course in the middle east with astonishing views on the skyscrapers of Dubai. Pro: -Amazing clubhouse in the shape of Bedouin tents. Very luxurious and comfortable. -Great dressing rooms. There’s even shaving equipment available if you want to shave after your round of golf. -Very nice terrace. -Very cool bar with plenty of cocktails. Very refreshing that there were plenty of non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu. -Very high service level. Golf clubs are taken from your car upon arrival and are put on your buggy. After your round of golf your golf clubs are cleaned. -Included in your greenfee you get a refillable water bottle. And On several places along the course are fountains to fill up your bottle. This is a very nice effort to reduce plastic waste. -Large pro shop with plenty of gear. -Good practice facilities: long driving range, putting green, chipping green. -Perfect maintenance: amazing fairways, greens, tee boxes & bunkers. Rough is all cleaned up so you basically never loose a ball. -I love the lay-out of the Majlis course. Very technical. You have to think about every shot. -A lot of variation. -Loads of huge bunkers and wasteland. -The green complexes are wonderful. -It’s a long course. Choose the right tee box if you want to enjoy it. -Great views on the skyscrapers of Dubai. That is so unique. -Even though this golf course is so close to the city, it is very peaceful. It’s a beautiful piece of nature in the middle of busy Dubai. Many birds chirping. -Buggy with GPS & ice boxes with actual ice in them to keep your drinks cool. -Fantastic to play a course that the very best players in the world play. Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, Seve Ballesteros, Rory McIlroy and many other great ones. Con: -Pricy greenfee.
