There is nothing bad to say about this location. Such an iconic place where nothing is left behind. Played the Castle course and it is magnificent. Maintenance wise, looks like everything is taken care by hand. Looking forward to comeback to play the Stadium.

A nice complement to the main Formby. Only 1 set of tees, but it still has some challenges. Goes close by the Formby, but it doesnt match maintenance quality. Even so, was a pleasure to play it.

There's not much to say about this course. All the ambiance speaks for it self, and the service tops any doubt. Cady service 5 stars, and course conditions without a single thing to point at. No wonder is a The Open Venue!

Very good maintenance conditions, specially on the greens. A great parkland feelings, but where the links feeling can also be present. Up and down course which requires different shots skill.

Once you arrive you can notice the amount of history circulating on all the clubhouse walls. Very demanding course, specially with the amount of bunkers. Very well maintained, where every detail matters. Great food at the restaurant.

Great mix of links feel and parkland surroundings. Course in perfect conditions, and the staff super friendly. Starter is a true ambassador!

Such a great course inserted in a parkland area, full of matured trees and nature. Sometimes it even looked like Augusta. Very well maintained. Only the greens were still recovering from hollow coring (or similar) and therefore were bumpy, but that is normal. Very minimalist in terms of signs which makes it very "clean". Layout very interesting and demanding.

Its really a must play course. Unfortunately it was raining a lot, but even so didnt ruin the round. Course handled rain very well. Maintenance wise was immaculate and only the sun was missing. Its understandable why is one of the best golf courses in the region. Entering that clubhouse just makes you feeling like you are part of the history. Great day!

A great parkland course, with different hights, which requires some course management. was a little soft, maybe due to the tree density. Starter was a must, with great tips! Must hit pretty straight in order to avoid tree lines. Overall a good round of golf. Restaurant service must be improved.

A great course where you can experiment 2 different sets of 9. First more classic and flat, and the second 9 a typical links with great views and surroundings. Course condition was immaculate, and with a Welsh sun everything was perfect. Hospitality was the best we could have from the moment we arrive to the moment we left! This course its a must!

Only played a long time ago, and had no references or memories. Therefore this time it was like my first time. Course is in a great maintenance condition, even during the dry summer season. Layout is very interesting and challenging, not needing a driver on most of the holes. Technical course which challenges you on every shot. Very friendly staff!

Very challenging golf course, which makes your game very strategic. Good rewards on the par 5's since some of them are reachable in 2. Greens in good conditions and rolling very well.

Pinheiros loop was the only one I still missed to play. Have to say it is the one I like the most. Surrounded by pine trees, makes play your best shots, in order to avoid hitting a tree. Very similar to the Sobreiros loop. Greens were in perfect conditions, with fairways and tees also following the same trend. A great option for that area, with so many offers.

It's in fact one of the most beautiful golf courses I have played in Algarve. The location combines perfectly with the scenery. The course layout is very challenging and not boring at all, since most of the holes follow each other. Maintenance-wise, everything was in perfect condition. Need to come back for sure.

Played the sister course some time ago and it was already a great challenge. Quinta de Cima keeps up the challenge, and makes you wanna hit strong. Maintenance wise is in perfect conditions which makes it easier to the player. On the other hand, it is a long course, which brings the long game very often. Wishing to comeback for a revenge... ;).

Laranjal follows the quality of its sister courses (North & South). The level of detail and maintenance is impressive, and nothing could be on a better shape. Small but practical clubhouse helps to secure the quality of the resort. Great layout with several up & downs, requesting your finest golf.

Despite the bad weather, it is easy to understand why did Royal Obidos hosted the Portuguese Open, and will do for the next 2 years. A fantastic course which calls for your best golf. Long and strategic, specially if the wind is picking up. Maintenance wise, it looked like I was playing in the Portuguese Open. Fantastic fairways, and greens that needed to be wisely played… Plus

Once you start playing you understand why Royal Obidos is the home of the Portuguese Open, and several other important events in the Portuguese golf. Maintenance wise the course just couldnt be better. Fast greens, great definition on fairways and roughs. It is easy to understand why Old Course is considered one of the best golf courses in Algarve. Everything is prepared to the final detail. Golf course is a classic undulated parkland, surrounded by pine trees, making all shots worth a thinking. Maintenance wise, everything in perfect conditions. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Coming back for sure.

Similar to the sister course Gramacho, Vale da Pinta is a typical Resort course, not very demanding. Undulated and very well protected by bunkers, this course do not call for your driver in case you dont feel comfortable with it. Short course, where you can easily play it just with irons. Very challenging course with pine tree lines on both sides on mostly all holes. You need to shoot straight, otherwise playing under the trees will be common. Since the course opened recently after the lock down, it is understandable that some bunkers are still not maintained, but overall conditions were very good, mainly the greens that were exceptional. Its a great 9 hole pitch and putt course which deserves a visit. Great to test your short game, and dont worry because its not just strait par 3's. A great challenge with a great level of maintenance. Balcony is perfect for a after game snack and drink. Will return to break the previous score. :).

For a long time I didnt play Quinta da Marinha, and I was surprised by the quality increase on every area. Maintenance wise, the course was in optimum conditions, especially the greens which were immaculate! Clubhouse continues to be modest and small, but for the immediate needs is enough. A very challenge course that definitely deserves more than 1 visit. First you need to know it, then you can play it :) In very good conditions, which makes it easier. second nine more friendly than the first nine. Great clubhouse balcony facing 18th green. Wind is probably the biggest challenge in this course. A must play course.

Very challenging course where you dont have roughs. Miss a fairway and you are on the sand. Short greens a very well protected with bunkers. Huge and modern clubhouse which fulfill the needs.

Great surrounding when arriving the clubhouse. The course is challenging enough to make you think every shot. A couple of short par5 which allows you to hit some birdies.

Great design of a golf course settled in a wonderfull place. Great maintenance conditions. Fairways and tee had been overseed and therefore were higher than expected, but its understandable. Great service from staff and a very chic clubhouse. Challenging holes which makes the course a great challenge to our skill.

Very interesting golf course. Not a championship, but a true enjoyable course. Very well mantained, and needs lots of strategy to play it. Small greens and norrowed fairways, makes you wanna think before you choose the club. Friendly clubhouse. Some blind holes, and therefore would like to repeat in order to make a better score.

Always been attracted by Amendoeira Resort, on both courses. Faldo course is a great challenge to your game. Every hole is different and very strategic.
