A very short golf course (5,200 yards) with little wow factor and virtually no hazards. 85€ for 18 holes felt like 'daylight robbery'. At home this would be a 35€ course, max. I'd only play there again if I had withdrawal symptoms.

Played here twice. 'Rack rate' of 115€ a little too steep IMO. Plenty of fog early October which was a shame. Found the course soggy and long, thus a slog and decided 2nd time to play off the '52' markers and not the '59'. The signature hole is tough unless you can carry the ball 260 yds (into the breeze) over the lake! Our least favorite of the 3 in this area. Plus

Played dangerously in the fog. It cleared by the 15th in time to play the stunning 18th. Beautiful planting, attractive course.

Foggy and yet to hell with Health and Safety we had to play or lose our green fee (x4). That said, we rather liked the course of the 3 we played (West Cliffs and Royal Obidos). Range balls were atrocious and they had the gall to charge you 5€ for 50 balls (42 actually).

A hidden gem. Played twice in a week, bookending a trip to Scotland. A must play and always in good nick. Sunday lunch for a tenner was great.

On the saddle of the Moors with great views. Hard to lose a ball, unless you're very unlucky. Nice and different and would recommend playing here.

A must play although expensive. Fab course in wonderful condition.

Played the 'Blue Monster' on the Nicklaus @ over 7,000 yards. Too long for me, but still enjoyed it. A golf course worth playing except when it's wet.

Sand based course which plays well on most holes through the winter. Par 69. A few shared fairways. Some great views up the Exe estuary.

Lovely golf course not far from Plymouth. A couple of quirky holes which need to be played a few times to get a good score.

The ‘yellow’ course has been revamped and was not ready to play when we did on the 23rd October 2019. The fairways, tees and fringes around the greens all had sporadic grass growth. My golf shoes were caked with mud. No ball cleaners, bins,135 metre markers. Frankly unacceptable. Give it a year or two and then it will be good.

Best played in the summer because it can get awfully wet underfoot. Needs to mature. Has good apres golf facilities.
