Every golfer loves to play the best and most iconic golf courses in the world. However, not everyone can afford to pay a few hundred euros or is willing to spend that kind of money just for a round of golf. That's why we decided to give you a hand, although you can also make all kinds of selections by using the filters in our golf club listing pages. It might be quite surprising where you should go if you don't want to break the bank for an 18-hole round.

If you want to make your own top lists, then just start using our filters! Select a region (for example Europe or Spain) and start fiddling around with those filters!

Below you can find the best affordable golf courses in Europe with the following characteristics:

  • the club needs to have 18 holes or more,
  • the course needs to have a 9.0 or higher,
  • the green fee should be lower than 80 euros, and
  • the price-quality should be higher than an 8.0

If you want great value for money then you need to head to Wales, which we also concluded in 2018 in another blog article: Which golf destination gives you the most bang for your buck? Of the top 10 listed, eight are Welsh golf clubs!

Please note that this article was published in July 2022, so prices can and will change as time goes by.
