Bellissimo percorso! Da qualche bocca si vede il mare da Peniche fino a la Lagoa de Obidos. Uno dei 3 magnifici percorsi della zona. Green fee alto pero tutto a la altezza. Club house molto bello pero ristorante nella norma. Sehr gut gepflegter Platz mit einigen Löchern direkt am Meer. Sehr schöne Aussichten! Schnelle gut gepflegte Grüns, und relativ breite Fairways. Zum Glück an diesem Tag nicht allzu viel Wind. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Tredje gången med besök på Praia. Tycker mycket om denna bana därav detta tredje besök. Speciellt hålen som löper paralellt med atlanten är fantastiska. Tyvärr några hål upp i”skogen” nr 5-9 inte lika fantastiska. Men helhetsintrycket är mycket bra. Rekommenderar denna bana/anläggning starkt. Un golf exceptionnel dans un cadre remarquable. L'océan moutonnant sous ciel azur en toile de fond de presque tous les trous, sublime! Fairways parfaits, vastes greens rapides et impeccables. Le retour en bord de mer avec 40 km/h de vent reste un gros challenge! Immense plaisir néanmoins à jouer ce parcours portugais magnifique.

Prachtige golfbaan, moeilijke greens, prima onderhoud, mooi uitzicht op de oceaan. Prima oefenfaciliteiten en super aardige medewerkers.

Prima ontvangst. Akoestiek in restaurant matig. Ingedeeld met echtpaar. Baan in goede conditie. Greens fair, vaak pannenkoek-model dus zorgvuldig benaderen. Zeker op de 2e negen met wind van zee niet eenvoudig. Maar de machtige brekers die op het strand beuken maken van golfen golven. Puur genieten.

Played this one three times during my stay in Portugal. And the more I played it, the more I enjoyed the course. The course has a stunning set of links golf-holes down by the Atlantic,12-17. Le parcours est plutôt bien, mais le plaisir est vraiment intense lorsque l'on longe la plage sur quelques trous exceptionnels. Ces quelques trous méritent à eux seuls le déplacement. Le lieu n'est pas beau, car trop construit. Bien sans plus.

Der Platz, die ganze Anlage ist ein Traum! Die ersten 9 Löcher beginnen leicht und gewähren schon den Blick auf das Meer, bevor es wieder vom Meer weg ins Landesinnere des Resorts geht. Golfen in de regen en mist op een pseudo links baan. De uitzichten op de huizen zijn minder! Wel genoten van de Fantastische uitzichten over de Atlantische Oceaan. De baan is goed bespeelbaar. Het clubhuis komt in low season met regen niet tot volle wasdom. Op het terras met zon zit je super.

Beautiful course along the coast, nice distant views with good fast greens. Practice facilities are more than good. Clubhouse is reasonable. Caddiemasters are very friendly.

Praia da Rey. Un campo con gran nombre fundado en 1997. Ubicación especial. Es un combinado de Parkland / Ocean Links. Los primeros hoyos entre pinos y diseño divertido. Praia d'el Rey was designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson in 1997 and is part of the Marriot resort just left of hole 12. We started on hole 10 a nice par 5 that you can see from the terrace of the clubhouse. Nachdem ich alle Plätze in der Region gespielt habe ist dies für mich der Beste. Gute Pflege, wunderbare Aussicht, interessant aber nicht allzu schwer zu spielen. Ich hatte Glück und spielte bei Windstille, bei dem üblichen Wind ist dies sicher ein anderer Kurs.

Foggy and yet to hell with Health and Safety we had to play or lose our green fee (x4). That said, we rather liked the course of the 3 we played (West Cliffs and Royal Obidos). Range balls were atrocious and they had the gall to charge you 5€ for 50 balls (42 actually).

Challenging course, a mix of Park and Links. Some holes are boring other are epics. Hole 13 and 14 are memorable and worths the trip.
