Hardelot earned its name as a holiday destination in the early years of the 20th century, during the Entente Cordiale, when aristocratic and other distinguished British and French visitors would meet there. Nowadays, newly built motorways and the Channel Tunnel have substantially reduced travel time to this Pas de Calais resort which, along with the neighbouring town of Le Touquet, has remained a premier sports and relaxation venue. Due to its 2 championship golf courses, Hardelot is definitely an option if you plan to play in the Hauts-de-France region, in the North of France!

Magnifique parcours se situant dans un environnement boisé, à quelques centaines de mètres de son parcours voisin (Hardelot Les Dunes). Dessiné par l’architecte anglais Tom Simpson en 1934, il est également l’auteur des golfs prestigieux de Morfontaine et de Fontainebleau en France. Zowel op Les Dunes als Les Pins gespeeld. Ik kan niet zeggen welk van de 2 ik mooier of beter vind. Het zijn beide prachtige banen! Wat overeenkomt is dat de clubhuizen erg ongezellig zijn, het bosbanen zijn, dat er veel Engelsen zijn en vooral 4-ballen in de baan lopen/rijden. Buggies zijn aan te bevelen. Op Les Pins zijn de holes iets vlakker (nog steeds hoogteverschill…

Les Pins

Prachtige bosbaan. Kwaliteit van het onderhoud is meer dan uitstekend. Ondanks de snelle greens en ondulaties op de fairway is het toch goed te doen om hier je hcp te spelen. Het clubhuis is niet alles, maar prima gegeten en gedronken met uitzicht op de 18e greens.
