The original 9 Hole course was designed by Willie Fernie the famous Scottish professional who won the Open Championship in 1883 and was runner up on four other occasions. The current 18 hole par 71 golf course, which is part links and part parkland, opened in 1907.

Donaghadee Golf Club is based on the Warren Road just outside the town of Donaghadee, Co Down. It is a seaside course of 18 holes and offers a variety of challenges for all handicaps. The course opened in 1907 and was designed by Willie Fernie.
