Tee time
PLEASE NOTE: the course was played in extreme condition of severe drought! Like many regions in mid and northern Europe this region obviously has problems with droughts and lack of rain and water for proper maintenance so the course was very dry. All the water hazards except one were completely dry but the course was still playable with no major complaints considering current weather situation. Decent golf course with some very long and interesting holes. Wasn't quite sure though how to play dog-leg holes #2 and #15 when I arrived to the tee box. Some drivable and almost drivable par 4's (at least in these dry conditions) and some monster par 5's which were far from reachable in two with such wind. We decided to play the course from back tees which was not a problem due to the dry and hard fairways as the balls were rolling forever... on the other hand the problem was stormy wind which required +2/3 clubs on some holes into the wind. Hitting a driver,5 wood and 5 iron (surprisingly all great shots) on 550m par 5 hole #7 into the wind tells you how windy it was. However I am not sure if this strong wind was something common here or not! I also imagine rough can be much harder to play from when the course is not dry. I would still suggest preferred lies on fairways and in first cuts if you are playing anytime soon. My favorite holes are 4,5,6,9,11,13 and 18. Greens were okay but slow due to a bit higher grass to prevent it from burning. Nice clubhouse which is overlooking the 9th and 18th green and 1st and 10th tee box. Food in the restaurant was also tasty and prices are very good but the staff is not very good in English. Pro-shop is okay and staff was very friendly!
