Chi è La Serena Golf Club
More than you need, all that you desire!
La Serena Golf lies in the municipality of Los Alcázares, right next to the Mar Menor. Mainly flat, the golf course´s main difficulties will be the prevailing Levante wind and the water hazards. The course, which is not overly long, has a traditional structure. Accuracy off the tee is a must for the player, who must thread his way to the green amongst clusters of bunkers, desert areas and the aforementioned water hazards.
La Serena Golf has a large Club House providing all facilities and services. The golf services are located on the ground floor: Dressing rooms, pro-shop, caddy master and storage facilities for members and clients in general. As well as the a-la-carte restaurant, the first floor has a large bar-cafeteria with a terrace overlooking the Mar Menor sea and the course.

Tja wat moet je van deze baan zeggen? Erg leuke lay-out. Veel water in het spel wat op zich geen probleem hoeft te zijn. Ook veel bunkers erg veel bunkers. Ook de bunkers waren vandaag geen probleem. Die werden namelijk zonder uitzondering beschouwd als GUR. Waarom? geen idee. Erg appart. Dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt.

Mooie baan als het gras groen is. Nu in februari minder mooi maar is logisch.
Extreem veel water en wasteland.
Layout van de baan zelf? Geen... niet bepaald klantvriendelijk.
Baan binnen vier en half uur gelopen in flight van vier maar toch opdringerige eigen leden.
Goede matten op drivingrange.
Helaas ook geen birdyboekje. Wel eentje speciaal voor afslag witte tee. …

geen aanduiding aan de weg waardoor de eerste maal niet eenvoudig te vinden
Zeer desolate indruk, een beetje het Marbella gevoel van de verlaten urbanisaties.
Geen enkele aanduiding van uit op de parking naar de ingang van de shop/secretariaat.
Deze is immers aan de andere zijde van het gebouw.
