Chi è Båstad GK

Welcome to Båstad Golf Club - a real "waterhole" for lovers of golf and nature. The very high class of the course and its interesting architecture in combination with a charming view over the bay of Laholm makes Båstad Golf Club a favourite among Swedish and foreign golfers. The Old Course, designed by the architects Hawtree & Taylor, is a classic one among the Swedish park courses. The course was inaugurated in 1930, the very same year Ludvig Nobel founded the club. The New Course,designed by the architect Tommy Nordström, is more open, but hilly and very demanding. Inaugurated in 1990.

Even though I already shared my experience on august 2018, I would still like to mention that the course remains a gem. Just visited after some years. What a special place! Spelade gamla banan en solig vårdag. Välklippta ytor mycket hårt men ändå grönt. Ondulerade greener och mycket bunkrar både runt green och fairway. En vacker bana som är värd ett besök. Mycket fina omklädningsrum och välsorterad shop. Kiosken på 9an är värd ett stopp. En hel del blinda slag.
