Haverlei was originally designed by Donald Steel but since then a lot of alterations have been made. I played the second nine (Red) with a member end of July. I liked the holes, they where quite varied and different. Most holes looked easier than they played. The only weak hole on the back nine is the 17th par 3. It's too short and really squashed in not enough space. I liked the driveable par 4 I think hole 14 and 18 is a nice finishing hole. The people in the clubhouse are very friendly but there were no towels available in the locker room. This on a day with 30° and a work meeting afterwards was the only negative. The driving range can use some attention as well.
