Hythe Golf Club, a Par 69,14 greens with 18 tees right next to the ocean. This flat open seaside course only measures 5300 yards from the back tee, ladies 4800. With small raised greens you need a great short game. The course was a bit wet but the greens were great. A fun golf course next to an impressive hotel. Maybe not everybody's cup of tea but still beats working!

Royal Eastbourne GC from the year 1887 is less than a mile from the coast. A hilly and pretty open parkland course. Great hospitality and lovely members. For March the course was in great condition, would love to play it in the summer. Just over 6000 yards from the backtee, par 70. With 20£ greenfee this is a treat! And good food too!
