Nice views and very scorable course (Ria) Range was closed, club house restaurant closed, service very dissapointing. There are better courses in the area which will give you a nicer overall experience.

To start with the worst: it was really a big disappointment that the clubhouse was completely closed. Yes, we could take a cup of coffee for free from a machine before we kicked off, but that was it. Played the two courses twice, checked out the academy short-course: Positive surprise! Ria course is links inspired and beautiful, some nice views to the sea/ beach as well as challenging holes along water. Cima being different: a long champions course, wide parkland type in between old trees and orange plantation. Green keeping is good, outstanding compared to the other … Meer

Excellent golf course with fantastic location. Very well kept and friendly service. Well worth a visit.

The atmosphere of the Algarves to play golf is magical. Playing with the Atlantic on the horizon and beautiful scenery with palm trees on island within the fairway. Quite a difficult course with hard fairways and very fast greens. Loved playing here with 25 degrees and a nice sea breeze. Although it was busy, we never had to wait or rush.

Quinta de Cima was designed by Rocky Roquemore and is the sister course of Quinta da Ria and serviced out of the same clubhouse and Caddie Master. The course itself is located on the other side of the road and maybe a bit less scenic as da Ria but in my opinion more challenging and more fun to play. We played the front nine of Quinta da Ria on the 25th of January and first thing we noticed in how amazing shape this course was for the time of year. Played here years ago and back then this golf club was ok and the Ria course did have great views, but they have really stepped up their game. De maintenance of the course is really good (mainly due to the Bentgrass which does not hibernate). Everything was lush green in January, greens, fairways and the rough. Q da Ria is a decent course but too crowded. The neighbouring Robinson resort brings crowds to the golf. The course has some nice holes near the sea but it is too crowded. At one point you can see 5 tee boxes…. Q da Cima is disappointing. Our round took 5 hours because there are no rangers doing the rounds to keep golfers playing quickly enough, there is a constant barra… Meer

On the Algarve coast close to the Spanish border you will find two courses next to each other from the same owners. Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima. Een prachtige baan. Alles ligt er keurig bij. De tees lijken wel greens. Hier is niet te merken dar er water te kort is in de Algarve. Baan is vlak en niet te moeilijk. It is exceptionally long (my partner played from the black/senior tees rather than his normal yellow tees) and the greens are like ice. I had played Cima before, and the club is still very impressive. Very friendly clubhouse, great practice facilities (only negative: DR closed around midday for maintenance...). The Ria course runs towards the Ria Formosa so you do get some great ocean views. Lovely two course with Ria and Cima right next to Robinson Hotel. Cima is sportive and Ria the nice and easy one with ocean views.

Played here couple of times both in Ria and Cima. Latest game i had was in Cima and has yet let to me down. It was a pleasure to play there because there is nothing better than enjoying a good round of golf with your family and friends on a sunny winter afternoon. Played the sister course some time ago and it was already a great challenge. Quinta de Cima keeps up the challenge, and makes you wanna hit strong. Maintenance wise is in perfect conditions which makes it easier to the player. On the other hand, it is a long course, which brings the long game very often. Wishing to comeback for a revenge... ;).

Back to this lovely course with members for the President Day and what a day it was. Course in great condition, greens ok, fairways it top condition as always, bunkers and roughs perfect to take the ball out of them. Cant stop playing this venue!

Another great day on a course that I strongly recommend, greens have been HT but rolling very good, tee boxes and fairways fantastic as always.

Always great to play at this fantastic and scenery course. The staff gives a warm welcome and make you feel at home. The condition of the Ria course, tee to green, surroundings.. everything is green and in good condition! If you are a golfer and have not played it yet... you must!
