my first day in Algarve started with a very good golf court... hi-level facilities and maintenance, good sourrounding and hospitality.

This is a beautifully maintained golf course with excellent facilities. The course is very playable for all levels - subject to selection of your correct tee box. The Dom Pedro Victoria course is a proper championship course. It's a challenging course and you can make it even more challenging if you move to the medal tees. This course has hosted The Portugal Masters, part of the DP World Tour’s 2022 and I can see why. Designed by Arnold Palmer with his characteristic enormous bunkers, sometimes bigger than the adjacent greens you immediately realise this is a top course that hosted multiple European Tour events. This is a quite tricky course and easy to loose shots if you are not on the fairway or shooting straight. But its a nice course and I would really recommend playing it if you are in the area.

I played here in the beginning of December two times. Actually I was the first time here and my impression was „waw“! Really championship course with nice view from clubhouse, well prepared & huge putting green, comfortable driving range and all facilities around. I think this is a course for golf players. Who care more about the golf than the surroundings. That said, it is still a fantastic experience playing this course. Wide fairways and big greens. The rough is not that difficult. Repaired a lot of pitchforks (and not only my own). There was a strong smell on holes 15 and 16 from the adjacent ETAR. Still a beautiful but difficult course.

Out of the Dom Pedro courses, this is one of the better ones. Nice course lay-out and good to play. You can certainly walk the holes - no real need for a buggy. A variation of holes, even though for most holes a driver is the tool to use.

Arnold Palmer has created a really challenging, great course here. During our visit there was also such a strong wind that some holes felt twice as long. Nevertheless: a visit is always worthwhile.

We were lucky enough to play this course on the first day of our trip and it certainly set the standard extremely high for the rest of our tour. The golf course is a tough one and very long, but in immaculate condition. We were a large group and looked after very well by the bar staff. Definitely worth a visit!

We played it 2 weeks after the Portugal Masters. Great course. Worth playing, we chose it because the O'Connor course looked like it needed maintenance.

Great course that makes you think about the game and feel what the Professionals encounter when playing the Portugal Masters. Course is playable and enjoyable, greens are good and slightly ondulated, there are some holes that you need to apply some strategy if you want to score. Amazing greens and well maintained with proper frindges. Designed to try your hardest to score. Has some long holes specially from back tees. Decent bunkers and lakes/hazards around back 9 are one of a kind. It really shows why its held so many european Tour Portugal Masters.

Victoria course lost in an extreme way the last 2 years - the fairways and pregreens are in a terrible condition. We wondered if they had water problems the last year, which could anyhow explain the condition. Victoria is very nice layout by one of the greatest players of all time... the one and only Arnold Palmer. Enjoyable of the tee but still a challenge if you are not precise both off the tee and on the approach shots. The course was fantastic! Great lay-out, not one hole plays the same. Very good maintenance and friendly marshals. Although before you go onto the course the reception forces you to comply with their etiquette on dress-code, one the course there is nobody to check on slow play, repairing pitchmarks and raking the bunkers. I played this in December 2018 and thought it was one of the best courses I’ve ever played. I played off the yellow tees and still found it quite difficult as a scratch player. Very well maintained golf course, with superb greens and fairways. Need to play well due to narrowed fairways, and plenty of rough. Staff very welcoming.
