If you think you''re playing in the low countries, you're wrong. This course is as hilly as a golf course can get. You can play it without a buggy, but it's tough going. I played at 35 degrees in the evening. Yes, you're still reading a review of a Belgian (almost Dutch) course. In some holes, it feels more like mountain climbing than golfing. That's about the only complaint. The course (Viviers) is quite spectacular to play, and although it's open and not too narrow, it's still not easy to play the ball in the middle of the fairway. It takes quite some maths and calculation to figure out how it will roll. The greens were very well maintained - smooth and fast. The reception was very welcoming and relaxed, and so were the local players. Good place fore a golfing weekend!
