I was blown away by a magnicent golf experience. Each hole in Hardenberg’s Niedersachsen course was an adventure on its own. So much variation in lay out of holes – doglegs, elevated greens and greens down the hill, all kinds of bunkers and water hazards, vegetatation ranging from pine trees to apple orchard and flower beds… you name it, this course has it all. There’s even a bunker guarded by trees on the last hole! And everything in a beautiful rolling landscape with vista’s to the surrounding hills. This boar of a course shows its fangs immediately with three long, tough holes. After that I found it was certainly possible to score. So for entertainment value, this is top notch as well. It is hard to mention a favorite hole. The par 3’s alone are all spectacular, and for me, the #8 with a brook traversing the lengt of the hole, even topped the signature #11.
