While this course has been renovated to some degree over the years, its still feels like its a course that is 100 years old. Wonderful surroundings and views, and some excellent par 5's. The 2nd hole is one of the best par 4's I've played in Ireland... great strategic hole. The 14th (par 4) and 15th (par 3) are also excellent holes. The 18th is probably the only 'odd' hole, as you hit over a burn that has a fence covering, and there's a parking lot with a big fence in the left side view, and this all sort of detracts from a really stunning view of the sea to the right. If something could be done to clean this all up a bit, it would really make a finishing hole that brings you in on a high note. Well worth a visit, it'll bring you joy of the simple beauty of the links and sea and mountain views.
