Canterbury Golf Club

The Harry Colt designed course is now rightly regarded as being one of the best conditioned venues in the south of England. In updating and enhancing the course, the club has held dear to Colt’s design principle that “any alterations should blend in with the environment and not alter it, and anything added to the natural landscape should grow to be a part of it”. In recent years, the club has constructed new tees and has started a programme of reinstating several of the original Colt-designed bunkers that were closed immediately after the last war. These improvements have seen the venue steadily rise up the rankings to sit at 114, just outside the United Kingdom’s top 100 courses.Meer
