Lamberhurst is a very nice course to play. The maintenance is VERY good, tee's, fairways, bunkers and greens. The greens were for me quite fast but also ran true. It's a parkland course with fairly wide fairways and decent sized greens. It's not a course that will often penalise a wayward shot so it's possible to score quite well. The semi-rough was also fairly easy to play and seldom saw real rough. We were told the second 9 were somewhat more difficult that the first but that wasn't really my experience.. or maybe I just played quite well that day. You can get a good breakfast before you tee-off.. a good base to build a day on. We'll be back if we are again in the area.
