Great mix of links feel and parkland surroundings. Course in perfect conditions, and the staff super friendly. Starter is a true ambassador!

The plaudits for Hillside from Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman hang proudly in its halfway house and the course is certainly worthy of the praise. If you are in the Southport area you are spoiled with choices for golf. Royal Birkdale, Southport & Ainsdale and Hillside are the top three links courses and they are right next to each other. You can't go wrong with playing either of them. They are all very good and Birkdale even world-class. I played Hillside in the rain and the course was still very pretty with a few… Meer

Great links course with superb scenery. Rough not too bad at this time of year. Punishing bunkers. Superb greens Well maintained fairways.

Great course especially the back 9, good condition but not brilliant, lovely Clubhouse and friendly staff.

Wow Wow Wow da bleibt einem die Luft weg. Egal ob Birkdale, Formby oder Hillside alle drei der absolute Wahnsinn und für jeden Golfer mit Interesse an Golfgeschichte ein muss. Auf der Runde spürt man die Kraft von Mutter Natur und ist einfach nur happy hier zu sein. Super nettes Personal. Für mich ganz klar einer meiner Favoriten.

The golfcourse Hillside next to Royal Brikedale is one to play as well. Different and beautiful views, challenging holes, and the bunkers are different than I’m used to... We enjoyed every moment of it!

Fantastische baan! Klassieke linkscourse door duinlandschap. Grenzend aan Royal Birkdale (waar dit jaar het Brits Open wordt gespeeld) en Southport & Ainsdale GC. Kwaliteit van onderhoud was geweldig, van tee tot green zeer goed verzorgd. Greens waren onlangs gezand, waarvoor excuses van de -overigens zeer vriendelijke- starter.
