as this is my home course - you may feel some bias. I have tried to be objective, but quite simply this really is one of the best golf clubs in England and a course that will live in the memory long after playing. Porthcawl and St Enodoc may arguably have more wow factor but it's a close call on a nice sunny day. The club is investing heavily in the course and the 14th will soon be fully in operation and the remodelling of the 12th fairway will improve things further. Greens are in great condition and fairways getting better all the time and with no play now for weeks or months ahead - something to look forward to when active golf resumes once again.
