I had played this course a couple of times before the reform and I had many doubts about how it would have been after the reform, because reforming a classic course like this and improving it is very difficult and I found it incredible how it has improved, in addition to improvements in the maintenance of the course the change in the holes that were near the lighthouse so… Meer

Stunning golf course and not bad views either. My advice, as always but more relevant here, is stay on the fairways otherwise very unforgiving.

AILSA is my favorite golf course and will always be it. The stretch from 4th to 13th hole with the 9th hole and halfway house run along the sea and offer fantastic views.

Turnberry is expensive. And you might not like the owner. But the golf course is one of the best in the world. Everything feels big at Turnberry. This is a big boys golf course. Piece of heaven on earth. One of the most spectacular landscapes ever. Pretty special place. Even better to play after an outstanding breakfast a-la-cart (30 pounds worth). The perfect day would also include a beer by the lighthouse while making the turn, lunch at the club house after the round, and why not! Hier gebruik gemaakt van de Twilight aanbieding 75 pond pp. En om half vier gestart. Vooraf in het prachtige clubhuis wat gegeten en je krijgt echt waar voor je geld. The overall impression was amazing with all the history of the course. Clubhouse stunning all though expensive but it is a premier venue.

In een klein tournooi hebben we zowel de King Robert The Bruce course gespeeld (voorheen de Kintyre) course en later de mooie Ailsa course. Magnifique parcours. Voir exceptionnel sur le plan visuel et golfique mais beaucoup trop cher.

2 parcours somptueux, parfaitement entretenus, avec beaucoup de trous en bord de mer. Scorable, car les bords sont bien taillés pour ne pas perdre de temps à chercher les balles. Beaucoup de vent, donc très physiques surtout l’ailsa. 150 livres en étant à l’hôtel en semaine pour ces 2 merveilleux parcours. 180 le we.

Parfait, un parcours magnifique, très bien entretenu, certains trous bord de mer somptueux. Des greens parfaits, un fairways impeccable, beaucoup de vent.

Trump Turnberry lost alle verwachtingen in. Van de gastvrijheid bij de start tot de allerlaatste hole is alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De baan heeft een prachtige layout en is ondanks zijn championship status toch goed speelbaar voor gemiddelde golfers. Teeboxen, fairways en zijn greens zijn zo goed als perfect en het halfway house in de vuurtoren is een leuke tussens… Meer

The slight deficiency - Several bunkers lacked some sand, very hard pan. Holes 8,9,11 among the most scenic and beautiful holes you can find, with shots straight on the lighthouse and Ailsa Craig on 8 and 11 with a challenging and entertaining second shot over a deep seaside cliff chasm to a shelf green on 9. Such an amazing place. Una auténtica experiencia. Su servicio es impecable. La pro-shop es impresionante. Su staff van uniformados. Hay ropa de calidad estupenda. Hasta hace poco, tenían “Trump” en todas ropas. Hasta que han empezado a vender más por limitarse a poner Turnberry. Wonderful golf Resort and superb golf course.

One of the must play golf courses! And it will not disappoint. Great links experience with beautiful layout and amazing views of the Ailsa if you are lucky with the weather ;-). I played both of the courses at the resort and enjoyed them a lot, especially the Ailsa course was really good. The facilities are very nice, from the range to the putting area and chipping area, all are well maintained and nicely presented to the player. Turnberry is just outstanding. The layout is even better than what it already was a few years ago! The new holes just bring out the best in this course! I didn’t think it could get any better! One of the most spectacular championship links courses. Absolutely must play with stunning views around the lighthouse and the cliffs. We played it in hard wind conditions and it was a big fun and hard at the same time. Really worth the visit.

Aisla course est l'un des plus beaux mais aussi l'un des parcours les plus challengings que j'ai pu jouer jusqu'à présent.
