A great place! Omberg calls itself a golf "resort", and resort captures very well the essence of Omberg. It's a relaxing place, with very good, service minded and friendly staff in reception, restaurant and on course a s o. The par-71 course is in excellent condition, and also the course is friendly and welcoming. Reasonably wide fairways surrounded by rough that wasn't too high when we played, making finding your ball and playing from the rough quite easy. Water on some holes, and a couple of greens have water between fairway and green, so you need to be accurate with direction and distance. Surroundings are very nice and include wide fields, cows and Lake Vättern. Also a good and clean toilet on the course which you pass 3-4 times. Two putting/chipping areas, a driving range in good condition and a shorter par-3 course (that looked good) makes up warm-up and practice facilities. All in all it's hard not to have a smile on your face after playing Omberg, even if your score isn't on top. The resort also has a good restaurant (with bar) where you can have snacks, food and drinks. We stayed overnight and had a 3-course dinner, which was great including the wines in the recommended wine package. Hotel rooms and locker rooms all in good condition.
