I played Esker hills on a mid February morning as Storm Ellen was gathering around Ireland and still fully enjoyed the round. The clue is in the name, a very hilly course where you are exposed to the elements on a large number of holes. Mount Temple is a nice challenging course set in the "Hidden Heartlands" of Ireland. the course is fair and offers a few scoring holes where accuracy off the tee will be rewarded with scoring opportunities.
