I played Esker hills on a mid February morning as Storm Ellen was gathering around Ireland and still fully enjoyed the round. Mount Temple is a nice challenging course set in the "Hidden Heartlands" of Ireland. the course is fair and offers a few scoring holes where accuracy off the tee will be rewarded with scoring opportunities. Castle Barna was a pleasure to play in the recent GUI Pierce Purcell Shield. The course was in good condition. A new course in the midlands of Ireland located just a few km from Tullamore. Was an absolute treat to play Concra Wood. The view on offer as you get out of your car is second to none as you can see across Lough Muckno and the clubhouse offers a view of Castleblaney in the distance and other random villages scattered around the lake. Really liked my stay at the Morgado G & CC. The hotel rooms were really nice, the staff around the facility were great and the facilities around the club were really good. A grass tee driving range with two spacious practise greens, one with two bunkers to practise from. Can't really fault the facility at all. Really enjoyed Salgados. I was told to bring a load of balls as there's water everywhere and for sure the tales were true. A lot of blind water off the tee but if you play smart and keep it where you can see it you'll be fine. Great little track in the western Dublin city limits. I was pleasantly surprised by this course. None of the holes are challenging when it comes to length but the greens make up for this. Got to play Luttrellstown last Saturday during torrential rainfall and still managed to walk away with a smile. The course is a nice track that spans across a large estate. There's quite a distance to walk from green to tee so if you're of the older generation a caddy cart might be a good idea to preserve your energy for the shots that matter. Royal Dublin was a great experience. I got to play the course twice in the space of four days and surprisingly enough my game is in a good place at the moment so I even thoroughly enjoyed the golf side of it too! Had a thoroughly enjoyable day at Elm Park Sports and Golf Club. The club house is very nice and locker rooms are big, spacious, hot showers, towels, and the hospitality is great. Really enjoyed playing Deerpark. The views from the first tee and final green are amazing and as we played late in the evening, watching the sun-set over Dublin from Howth was one of the nicest views in Ireland I've seen. What a fantastic course and a pleasure to play. Got a tour of the hotel and was told the history of the establishment. From the Jameson family back in the day to Mr. Langer's redesign. The tour took in the gardens, bars, rooms, views and the beautiful Shíbín bar before you lay your eyes on the course. There is no driving range, but if that was to take away from your exp… Meer

Played here on an early Saturday morning. Half set of clubs required and no Driver unless you go for the green on the 8th. Glorified Pitch and Putt to be honest and at 30 notes for a round, you'd be better off heading elsewhere. The greens were bumpy and fast so there was very little point in trying to read putts. Played this course just after a storm had hit a few weeks before and even-though there were some visible aftermath the course played well and the grounds were well maintained. I played a lot of golf this winter and I have to say the playing conditions here were right up there with some of the best I experienced over the long, wet winter. What a fantastic club and golf course. Something completely different to Dutch golf that I have played. I was lucky to play this course in proper links conditions and it did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of playing the International last week and I have to say the course is kept in good condition. The tee-boxes and fairways are great, although the greens were slow, which takes away from the fun of the greens which undulate and the long putts can be really tricky.
