Very good layout with lots of diverse holes. Quite a few intimidating tee shots over water hazards which require decent drives if you want to have solid second shots. Quite demanding if you are playing the course for the first time. Compared to the Old Course I think accuracy is actually much more important on this course. Lots of dogleg holes and again quite a few intimidating tee shots to narrow fairways. Great Northern
This course was on our trip from Belgium to Stockholm and we played it as it was highly rated at Top100golfcourses. Well, I can tell you this was the surprise package of our golf trip. I absolutely loved it. It's a Jack Nicklaus course, and it's clear this is a high budget course. Lovely bunkering, very strategic water hazard, and a great mix of length of holes.

Great Northern
I don't often revisted courses, but we made an exception for Great Northern as we liked that so much last year.
The surprise was gone, but I refound a course that is really challenging (play from the right tees) and spectacular and where a huge budget was spent to create this amazing layout.
