Loch Lomond Golf Club
What an amazing property this is! The golf course itself has nothing to do with Scottish links courses as this is quite typical parkland golf course built on the shores of Loch Lomond. Beautiful layout with some great holes out there like 4,5,7,9,13,15 and great finishing par 4 18th hole. No. 13 is probably my favorite. Holes 5,8 and 17 are lovely par 3 holes. Par 3 11th…

Dunaverty Golf Club
Hole 5 is bijzonder: afs…

Carradale Golf Club
The 2nd hole at Carradale Golf Club is already well worth the £15 greenfee into the honesty box. Add the interesting 4th hole and the very good 6th hole and you have a winner. The scenery is breathtaking on a nice day. Definitely in the discussion for the best value golf course I've played this year. Well worth a game when you are in the area.

Machrihanish Golf Club
When you arrive on the first tee at Machrihanish Golf Club, you will see a sign claiming "Best Opening Golf Hole in the World". While I don't know if this statement is true, I agree, that it is a very fine opening hole with a very demanding tee shot over the sea. Especially with the headwind that we had when we played. The quality of golf remains fantastic over the next…
