Golf in Switzerland
Most golf courses in Switzerland are easy to reach by car and public transport. A nice benefit of playing in Switserland is the fact that you are able to hit the ball much further than normal, due to the thin air in the mountains. Golfing in Switzerland is truly an adventure, you walk on narrow paths and alpine meadows. But you also have a good chance of spotting deer or other wildlife.

Golf Ascona
Very nice parkland golf course on the shores of lake Maggiore with proper "old school" layout where every club in the bag comes in play.H.S. Colt and C.H. Alison designed the first nine holes while later C.K. Cotton added the second nine holes. Holes 4,5,6,8,15 and 16 were my favorite and if you ask me, hole number 8 is one of the most beautiful parkland par 4's on the co…

Golf Club de Genève
Excellent parkland golf course located just above Geneva lake a few minutes ride from city center. Beautiful Robert Trent Jones Sr. layout with very diverse holes, my favorites are no. 2,6,16,17 and 18. The course was in top playing condition, greens were very good and the fairways were great even though it was raining heavily for 1 day prior to my round. If my info is co…

Golf Club Ybrig

Golf Club Lugano
What a beauty... Great parkland golf course near lake Lugano. Similar to Ascona with proper "old school" tree lined layout where every club in the bag comes in play. Some very beautiful and challenging holes - number 2 par 5 is a beast. Not too long but nice par 3 holes. Holes 5,6,8,10,12,13 and 18 were my favorite. The area obviously had some problems with rain as some a…
