Golf in Mallorca

Next to that, Mallorca golf courses are known for their good quality. More than half of the golf clubs in Mallorca are rated a 7.5 or higher out of 10 on Leadingcourses.com. Some of the best golf courses in Mallorca are Golf Son Gual, Club de Golf Alcanada, Son Muntaner Golf (ArabellaGolf), Vall d’or Golf, Club de Golf Son Servera and Son Quint Golf (ArabellaGolf). All of these Mallorca golf clubs have a high rating at Leadingcourses.com. For golfers who are looking to enjoy a complete golf holiday in Mallorca, Golf Resort Pula is the place to be. The 18-hole golf course offers a lot of enjoyment for golfers of every level. After your round you can enjoy the relaxing spa, including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and steam bath. The most golf courses in Mallorca can be found around Palma, the capital city of Mallorca. This is also the city with the most touristic attractions. Palma de Mallorca is a vibrant city in the southwest part of the island. The city has a lot of touristic attractions, like the Cathedral area, The Rocks, the Old city and Banys Àrabs. Palma is a perfect start for a golf break to Mallorca. Almost 15 golf clubs can be found around the capital city. These golf clubs are all very diverse which makes Palma perfectly suited for golfers of all levels. Even though Palma de Mallorca is a stunning city, for some it might be too touristic. For these people there are a few smaller places with fewer tourists, like Pollensa Town. This small ancient town is famous for its Roman bridge, the Pont Roma. Or climb the Puig de Calvari, a 365 steps high stairs where you will be rewarded with excellent views over the town. Just like the mainland of Spain, Mallorca has a Mediterranean climate. The average temperature at Mallorca is above 15 °C the whole year, which makes playing golf in Mallorca always possible. Still, the summers can become quite hot which makes playing golf in Mallorca a little less enjoyable. That’s why a Mallorca golf holiday is very popular in spring and fall.

Son Quint Golf (ArabellaGolf)
Warming up on the pretty driving range allowed the golf ball to roll down the hills into the centre of the 'fairway'- and whilst not indicative of the course, did make for a pleasing start. In fact first impressions when arriving at Son Quint were great, the first has a large stone walled area which makes it look like quality, sadly as you round the corner the harsh winte…

Zeer fraai onderhoude…

Son Vida Golf (ArabellaGolf)
During a period of rain and clouds, we were lucky to have a slightly sunny day playing this wonderful course. The training facilities at the entrance might not give it away, but this course is truly beautiful. We played with a member who told us the front 9 is easier than the back 9. I personally agreed, although some of my flight mates felt the opposite. The fairways a…

Golf Son Gual
Playing on what can only be described as a cold windy day with sunshine, the experience was in general a good one. The course design, green to tee was easy to navigate, holes themselves had a good variety from elevated tees to splodge bunkers of irregular but interesting shapes. Hole four was a nearly island green, which added more interest. But overall the course needed…
