Gorleston Golf Club
Most easterly course in England and gets a few visitors because of that. Mostly a locals club, though, and a great clifftop challenge (not a 'links' course as the members are keen to point out). Nice course and a warmer welcome than the North Sea breeze with which you'll need to contend.

Next to the clubhouse is a small but well-stocked pro shop and visitors …

Thorpeness Hotel & Golf Club
The Thorpeness Golf Club is a real test of one's golfing skill. With long fairways and the need for a strong, strategic mind, prepare to be tested on every hole of this beautiful course. Hole 1 A short par-4, the 1st needs an accurate tee shot so you can avoid the fairway bunkers. Pay attention to the flag, because the green is large and you'll want to avoid a potentia…
