Golf in Florida

Many people flock to Florida - also known as 'the sunshine state' - to golf, due to it's favourable climate and it's density of golf courses. No other state in the USA has more golf courses than Florida. Foreign golfers love Florida because most golf courses are well-maintained, are relatively cheap and quality is fairly high.

Nice Jim Fazio designed course located in West Boynton Beach. The layout is completely flat but it has some great holes and you will find water on most of them. Par-5 4th hole is a absolute winner where you can either go safe and play it to the left fairway or hit your drive (or a wood) very precise to an island on the right t…

Hawk's Landing Golf Club
Played here again after 2 years. I like the layout and the course was in very good condition but it was quite a challenge with all the wind. Fairways were very nice and the greens were great and challenging. Would love to see a bar & restaurant on site as there is just a small kiosk for the halfway break while everything else is in the onsite hotel.

The layout is completely flat but there are quite a few interesting and challenging holes out there with lots of water and a few great dogleg holes were gutsy players will be rewarded. The course was in solid playing condition - nice fairways and good greens with decent speed and some of them were quite t…
