Brandermill Country Club Course
Early season event the course was still dormant. Greens were in decent condition. Layout was interesting. The terrain was much more hilly than expected. Course meanders through a housing development with a wide range of houses. At times the houses looked like summer cabins. Would play again in season to see what it is like in better condition.

Bristow Manor Golf Course
Greens were in very good shape following winter storm. Course is a little strange. Three par 5s are basically designed to lay up off tee. 7th hole is about 440 yards and fairway ends at 150 marker with no fairway from there to green. We had fun even though it is not a Course I would rush back to play.

Highland Course
Spectacular views from the top of Blue Ridge Mountains in Southwest Virginia. This a must play course. Covid restrictions didn’t allow for access to bar restaurant. Will try to make it an annual stop going forward.

Marsh Hawk
Williamsburg is a very pretty and charming area, even with some history which is unusual for most of the USA. Fords Colony is an enormous golfclub with 3 golfcourses. We played Marsh Hawk which is a very good golfcourse with many memorable holes. The surroundings are fantastic. Beautiful nature and expensive houses. Fun to play. Very recommendable.

Mountain Greens CourseWoodstone Meadows Course
Spent a few days here on a family get together and managed to play a few rounds. They’re holiday resort courses so don’t expect the kind of technical golf courses you might find in private golf clubs. I live in Europe so the style of courses was a bit different from what I’m used to although perhaps less different than others in the US? The Mountain course was in the wood…

Highland Course
Primland Resort is located in a remote area of Southwestern Virginia where peace, beauty and solitude abound. As we drove the meandering 2900 foot climb up Mountain Top Road to our cottages, I could literally feel the pressures of the daily grind receding. There is definitely something therapeutic about getting ‘away from it all’. Surrounded by unspoiled wilderness with a…

The Gold Course
Topbaan zeer goed onderhouden. Gevarieerde holes door naaldbos met indrukwekkende hoogteverschillen en ook veel water. Greens zeer snel met veel ondulatie. Drivingrange en chipping met gratis Titleist ballen. Een echte aanrader!

Herndon Centennial Golf Course
Herndon is een publieke baan Het is een parkbaan gelegen aan diverse woonwijken Baan is eenvoudig maar de kwaliteit van de fairways en greens zijn goed te noemen. Het clubgebouw is eenvoudig en heeft weinig uitstraling.
