Had an enjoyable week at Golf de Mogador, terrain was in good condition and due to the newly reopening of Moroccan airspace for international flights, it was very quiet on the golfcourse. Very exciting golf courses (North and South) with a big particular 13 holes course for South (2h/2h30 of play). Large fairway when with can drive easily and beautiful greens. Close to Sofitel, so very interesting place for holidays.

These 2 Gary Player courses are in excellent condition from tee to green and is playable for every hcp. The fairways are quite large and even if you hit your first ball in the rough, most of the times you can find your ball pretty easy. I've played both courses, north and south. North is more difficult because the fairways are a bit narrowwer. Both courses played with strong wind which made the course very difficult. This wind is almost standard, assume that there is a strong wind. Maintenance of the course was excellent, tee boxes, fairways and greens. Driving range is very spacious, practice facilities… Mer

This is a review of the SOUTH course. This is a unfinished 18 holes course by Gary Player. At the moment the course is 13 holes long. I find this a very nice course. Quality design with nice and spectacular holes. Absolutely worth to play! Can't wait untill the last 5 holes are constructed!

North course, We played the north course several times, these 18 holes designed by Gary Player has a really nice lay-out created between the hotel and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean with no surrounded houses, only nature. Parcours pas trop long et greens rapides. Fort confortable... Détente assurée...

Eerder eentonig parcours, wel brede fairways, te moeilijke fairwaybunkers. Te droog, kaal parcours en minder goede greens. Slechte aanduiding van volgorde van de holes. Ongezellig clubhuis. Het mooie weer maakte veel goed.

Brede iets wat droge fairways met zeer snelle moeilijke greens. Niet al te moeilijke baan die best goed onderhouden wordt. De 2e baan waarvan nog maar 13 holes af zijn is meer afwisselend. Top Platz. Leider durch Düngerpflege die ganze Runde unangenehm gerochen. Ansonsten alles tip top.

Wunderschöner Platz. Ob Süd- oder Nord cours beide sind sehr gut gepflegt. Am Nachmittag kommt schonmal Wind auf und das Bezwingen des Platzes wird noch spannender! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Très belle Essaouira et Très beau golf avec un paysage très varié. Super challenge de bien scorer, effet vent très contraignant. Accueil très chaleureux et caddy très sympa. A rejouer pour la revanche.

During a round trip through Morocco we stayed for two days in Essaouira and as the town is quite small we took half a day to play 18 holes on the Mogador golf course. The golf shop in the club has everything you need in case of an unforeseen round and clubs of reasonable quality can be rented. Un po' troppo vento ma non è colpa loro! ?️‍♂️.

Interessante baan. Veel doglegs, misschien iets te weinig bunkers. Er is geen rough, wat visueel best raar is, want dan heb je ook geen echte fairway. De greens waren erg snel en fair. Moeilijk aan te spelen, wat het extra leuk maakt vind ik. Clubhuis erg leuk met fantastisch uitzicht. In de baan is het wat lastig oriënteren op waar je bent. Dat komt mede door de weinige … Mer

Parcours un peu raplapla mais quand même intéressant Cela fait presque qu'un mois que vous y jouons 9 trous en voiturette tous les deux jours. Les greens ne sont pas facile à lire, un jour j'ai joué 7 sur 9 trous malgré deux cagasses, le reste des autres fois c'était plutôt entre 12 et 15!
