For golf enthusiast, South Africa is great destination. The country is blessed with an ideal climate for a round of golf. And, the variety and number of golf courses is huge. You can play numerous South African golf courses along the Garden Route, but also near Johannesburg and the Kruger Park.

Southbroom

Während unseres SA Urlaubes mit Freunden hier gespielt. Toller Platz und sehr schöne Aussichten. Clubhaus und Personal sehr sehr angenehm und freundlich.

I played all the courses up and down the south coast, but Southbroom was by far my most favorite course. I fell in love with the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere. The course requires skill and concentration and the greens are tricky. There are many water holes around to test your accuracy. My favorite hole 🕳 is the one overlooking the ocean 🌊. The scenery from the clubhouse is to die for 😍.

When busy travelling in the South of KZN and not much time the Southbroom GC is real pleasure to play and recommended. The course is located on the edge of the Indian Ocean and on some holes you hear the waves splashing on the rocks while standing on the teebox. Maintenance is good and the course needs your attention especially when the wind is blowing from the south due to the fact that there are well designed water hazards, narrow fairways and bunkers. When lucky you notice some dolphins and see other birds and wildlife. Clubhouse views of the ocean and service is very good and a nice spot to enjoy your food and drinks.
