You can play numerous South African golf courses along the Garden Route, but also near Johannesburg and the Kruger Park.

Goose Valley

Again a fine round on goose valley golfclub. Monday is senior day and reduced greenfee for 65 +. Enough golfcarts avaiable. Maintenance fine and marshall is looking at<br />speed of play. After 9 holes a max. 10 minuten break. Overall fine to play.

Goose Valley playing early morning have the advantage that the wind from the Indian Oceanië is not that strong yet. Staff helpful and marshall driving around for speed of play. Sufficient bunkers and water hazards to keep you focuser Greens have a nice speed and maintenance is good. You always have the change of meeting Golf Legend Gary Player, who on a house on Goose and is always in for a nice talk and advice. Enjoy GooseValley.

Goose valley GC designed by Gary Player, who has already a long time a property on the course. <br />The design is nice it is a bit hilly but the course is easy to walk with a trolley. Also during Covid-19 it has no influence on the maintenance. It is always a pleasure to play and don't think it is easy with some streams crossing the fairways. The undulated large greens are very good and be carefull otherwise a 3 putt. Clubhouse is very quiet due to lots of usual players are still scarred for the virus. However everything is safe.
