St. Lőrinc Golf Club

The course is located in the outskirts of Budapest, not too far away from the airport. I arranged the tee time and hire of a set of clubs beforehand given only the pro was able to exchange in English. Unfortunately the pro was not present when I came to the club to play. The guy at the reception nevertheless found my booking and the set of clubs. These latter were quite old clubs but I did not get high expectations anyway. The course in itself is not spectacular but it is still something for a country which is not really turned to golf compared to its neighbors. The tee boxes were quite in average state, fairways were ok and greens could have been better but as I played mid-November I had no great expectations again. The layout is a bit 'boring' but the course is flat and decent enough to offer a golfing experience. I would definitely not recommend to visit absolutely but if you are looking for a quick 9 holes without high standards expectations, this course can do and it might even help them developing further.
