Royal Waterloo Golfclub is located in the beautiful region of Brabant, near the famous battlefield of Waterloo. Royal Waterloo offers three golf courses: La Marache, Le Lion and Le Bois-Héros, all designed by architects Hawtree and his son. Our courses are maintained by a team of more than 20 gardeners who ensure this is the finest 45-hole club of Belgium!

Le Bois-Héros is a par 33 course of 2,113 meters and is a magnificent 9-hole, wooded and hilly course. In 2003 brand new greens - designed by Martin Hawtree - were added to this wonderful course. The course is a real challenge for beginners as well as for the best. A haven of peace, a real jewel, the Bois-Héros is worth being played.

La Marache
I only played La Marache course which was designed by Fred Hawtree and opened for play in 1960. This par 73 beauty measures 6,296 meters from the tips and it is considered as one of the best golf courses in Belgium, deservedly so.
