Stupid course. Not fun to play. Just ridiculous design. Don’t bother

A fantastic course we’d definitely love to play again! After a warm and welcoming reception, we started on the Black River loop. The first six holes take you through the Park Course – an easy and relaxed start, featuring three par-3 holes. From hole 7 onwards, the course splits: you can either continue on the Park Course or take on the challenge of the Black River loop. No regrets choosing the latter! Hole 7 immediately stands out – a dramatic downhill tee shot over a 'river' sets the tone for what’s to come. Expect plenty of blind shots and some cleverly designed greens, like the one on hole 8. For me, hole 17 is the signature hole of the course. A few downsides: footgolf is played throughout the course, and those flags can be distracting. Signage could be clearer – at times we really had to search for the next tee. Don’t expect paved buggy paths either (though we recommend renting one); that said, the unpaved paths actually added a certain charm. From hole 7 onwards, we were fully immersed in the experience. The fairways are full of humps and bumps, which makes for a dynamic round. Playing it a second time will be even more fun – and probably a bit easier. That said, I still managed to play to my handicap!

Black River is really a challenge. Nice environment all around. Chateau amazing as a club house ! Park course is in historic garden. Really as great experience !

WHITE VALLEY in MALATZKY: Die Anlage ist von der Planung her ein guter Platz - leider sind die Investitionen der letzten Jahre ausgeblieben - die Anlage wartet auf einen Neustart. Trotzdem bemühen sich die Mitarbeiter, den Platz spielbar zu erhalten. Der Regen im Sommer hat den Platz gut getan. Die Fairways sind grün und gut gemäht, die Greens annehmbar, die Abschläge renovierungsbedürftig. Wir haben diesen Platz seit einem Jahr wieder gebucht - im Umkreis von 100 KM gab es keine Abschlagszeit am Samstag den 10.10. für uns - wir verbrachten bei schönem Herbstwetter einen ruhigen Golftag in Malatzky!

Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich, die Marke des Kaffees sollte geändert werden... kein kulinarisches Angebot im Restaurant...
