Om Wigtownshire County Golf Club
The 'county' is a true links course situated on the shores of the scenic Luce Bay in Southwest Scotland. The excellent condition of the course, combined with the subtly sloping greens and the changing sea breezes, provide a fine test of golf for both high and low handicappers. There are three short holes, 14 par fours and one par five. A large practice area lies adjacent to the first tee and, because of the sandy soil base and proximity to the sea, there is rarely a problem with water lying on the course and winter greens are rarely used.

Wigtownshire County CourseJust played Wigtownshire County on a sunny winters day. The course is in very good condition for the time of year and the greens are in better condition in January than many others are during peak summer season.
Wigtownshire County CourseBeen part of the county for the last 20 years, it may be cheaper golf for the area but it's definitely plays better than most I have played! Don't let the price baffle you £45 a round in the summer is a steal! You won't play a better course for the price, very well maintained and a very welcoming place to be.
