Visited Burhill as part of an affiliation arrangement with my local club. Hence the zero green fee was very reasonable! Otherwise I believe green fees over £100 are the norm at Burhill. It’s not Aldenham’s fault that it’s just off the M25 but a three hour drive through several traffic jams did not endear me to the club on arrival. Fortunately the day got much better from then on. The Church course is hard but fair with plenty of trees and testing greens. A warmish welcome in the clubhouse rounded off a nice afternoon. I’d definitely recommend a visit to … Mer
