The Klagenfurt-Seltenheim golf course lies close to the Klagenfurt city limits and it offers a 27-hole course in the heart of Carinthia. The “championship course” combines the characteristics of a Scottish links course with fairways and fantastic greens in “American style” as well as scenic roughs. The "romantic" course (nine holes par 3) was built first and offers a nice and relaxing round.
Fast greens, gently curved fairways and summit giants at a safe distance - that is what sets Seltenheim apart. The most spectacular hole on the championship course is the hole 8. A par 3 with an island green - 131 meters from the tee.

Always a pleasure to play here. Proper championship golf course with a some very challenging holes like 2,3,6 and 18. I like the risk & reward holes 3,6,14,16,17. Very good condition of the course with nice fairways and very good greens. Decent pro shop and restaurant. Driving range is a bit off-site. The Championship Course
Dieser sehr schön designte 18-Loch-Platz erinnert mich sehr an das Zalaspring-Resort in Ungarn. Schön modelierte Hügel, sehr viel Wasser, also eine golferische Herausforderung. Das Inselgrün auf Loch 8 ist top. Der Platz ist sehr gepflegt, die Grüns groß, mittelschnell und stark ondoliert. Ein 3-Putt ist also ab und zu vorprogrammiert. Nachteil für Golfer die gerne üben: …
