Het is enige tijd geleden dat ik een review heb geplaatst. Je wilt niet in herhaling vallen. Hier pak ik de draad weer op. Wat een prachtige golfbaan. Je golfkwaliteiten worden zeer op de proef gesteld op deze in zeer heuvelachtig terrein aangelegde baan. Onderhoud van fairway en bunkers is uitstekend en de greens zijn razendsnel. En dat voor € 50,- met de Golfamore app. Een golfliefhebber rijdt deze baan niet voorbij.

Stunning golf course, especially the front 9. You will probably need to play with caution and good course management if you don't want to lose a surprising amount of golf balls. Nonetheless, I still found it very enjoyable as a beginner golfer. Maintenance is top-notch.

The clubhouse is also beautiful, in the style of a traditional home from Cantabria.

Very recommendable.

El campo está espectacular, cada vez que voy a jugar veo que mejora y que su mantenimiento es extraordinario.

Para mi le falla el estado de las calles, con mucha arena pero seguramente sea por el tipo de terreno y la lluvia.

Los greenes son una locura con su velocidad y caídas.

Si estás en Cantabria, es un campo que merece la pena jugar y disfrutar de sus alrededores como comillas, Oyambre o San vicente.

El precio es alto.

You know who designed the course as there is a statue of Seve near the pro shop. Not as difficult as anticipated but a long course. Well signposted around the course. It has been redesigned because most of the apps didn’t meet with the scorecard so best take your rangefinder. Quiet for a Sunday possibly due to the price which was €90 a player. Very well maintained with beautifully quick greens which were very difficult to keep the ball on if you can’t make it stop. Interesting holes with a lot of change in elevation as it meanders through the valleys. The par 3s were a good length but always had some hazard or obstacle in the way. Hole 9 deserves its SI 1 with a lake and a very unforgiving green. Buggy paths close to the fairway make it easy to drive around. A good gap between the tees mean you don’t see the players behind. Excellent cleaning facilities for carts and shoes. The clubhouse is beautiful old style architecture we didn’t eat but there were plenty of people doing so which is a good sign. We stopped for a beer on the terrace overlooking the 18 th green. A good all round parkland type course with enough interest and difficulty to challenge most golfers.
