Quite a challenge from the Blue tees for a good amateur especially if it is very windy so choose your tees visely. We played the course 1 day after the heavy rain so most of the bunkers were not yet however they sure know how to charge the full rate. The course is fantastic to play! Unfortunately, all the bunkers were GUR as the days before there was a downpour. Since the course is right next to the the metro and so was my hotel, I decided to go by public transport. Based on the reactions of other people, this was not a common thing. Forget your expectations. This course will still overwhelm you. The backdrop of the skyscrapers is like a mountain range that continuously shapes the scenery at each hole from every angle. The Majlis course is probably one of the most well-known courses in Dubai. They have been hosting the Dubai Desert Classic for 30+ years. An absolute dream come true, visit the Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday and play the course on the Tuesday after. The course was still in tournament condition. For us mere mortals, this makes it very though to play. Greens were still a 11.8 on the stimp and the roughs were an immediate lost shot. We took on the challenge, and the course beat us handsomely. Perfect conditions on the oldest golf course in the middle east with astonishing views on the skyscrapers of Dubai. Pro: -Amazing clubhouse in the shape of Bedouin tents. One of the best courses I have played in the world, the design is excellent, the detail is taken care of to the millimeter and the maintenance is perfect. I am surprised that the final of the Race to Dubai is not played here. Playing with the Dubai skyline is incredible and the end of the course is magnificent. There is not a single hole that is not good. Mehr

We play by night and was increíble the experience worth it sometimes you can’t see the ball but in general terms you can play as you are playing at 18:00 You have to try it once in a life.

Really impressive course not only for the design when you play the shot looking the skyscrapers it’s strange but it’s really beautiful I really recommend to play that course Top maintenance.

I played the Emirates Majlis course on our first day in Dubai. At reception we received a bottle to tap water which they have at the tee boxes on 1 of every 2 holes. Very handy in temperatures around 30°C in December. The driving range is wide with practice from grass and pyramide balls. Excellent. The course is very varying, I enjoyed it a lot. Player Faldo 9 holes at Night. One of the few clubs with floodlights that let you play until about midnight. Not super difficult but you have to make some smart choices as risky shots easily results in penalties and difficult desert sand shots that may cost you strokes. I booked the Faldo course first 18 holes during day light, and a week later 9 holes at flood light. The Faldo course has quite a lot of water in play, the Ladies European Tour players found it a quite easy course, but I didn't. Plenty of waste area's too. Course in very good condition. The Emirates GC other 18 holes course is the Faldo course. Some changes has been done over the years. The Faldo course is shorter than the Majlis course but for us long enough and playing from the white tees is more than enough. Also the course is hilly and sloping on the desert dunes. Played the Emirates GC the Majlis course, this one is the venue of the European tour from 28 to 31 januari 2021, so we were in time to have this round played. The course is in a perfect condition and also the hazards are nicely prepare. There is lots of water obstacles and very very large bunkers. It is very easy, everything is perfect at the venue. The Course is great and it was in super condition, the greens were awesome, nice, fast and true. Of Course it was very hot and humid, but you will have a perfect day. Sometimes it is better to invest more money and play a course like that you will never forget. Clubhouse is nice and a good restaurant included.

After the sandy experience in Ruwais back to a beautiful grass course, one of the oldest courses in the region and selected by the European Tour for the desert Classic in Januari. The reception as all the staff in the middle East dealing with foreigners very helpful and polite All the practice facilities are very well maintained despite the hot weather in the summer. I played 9 holes of Faldo course by night and I really enjoyed the experience! Friendly and helpful staff, extremely well maintained course. Very diverse holes and challenging for various type of players. Good value for price. I look forward to playing the championship course.

On our way home from Southafrica we had a 3 day stopover in Dubai where we squished in a round on the Majlis championship course. The whole visit was a great mistake.
