Stonelees Golf Centre

The newest addition at Stonelees is the full-length nine-hole Heights Course. This course has everything you would expect from a course in this strong golfing area. Picturesque sea views, challenging holes, excellent conditions, a full portfolio of hazards and a layout that requires a mix of muscularity and thought in equal measure. The Heights Course is a course where two accomplished players can have an entertaining game. However, it's also a course where two "average" but keen players will also enjoy the golf. There are multiple tee positions to play from allowing you to play 18 different holes.

The Par 3 Course at Stonelees is short enough for a junior or beginner but it's a great test of the short game for the better player too. The course is mostly flat and there are no major hazards. For the better player, the Par 3 course is a good course to work on distance control with short and mid irons. If you are fortunate, as you stand on the first tee, you will see the resident swans swimming in a line or you may spot the coots or moorhens swimming in the lake. The Par Three consists of 5 holes.

For the improving golfer, the Executive Course at Stonelees offers seven challenging par-3s and two difficult par-4s. The Executive Course is more undulating than the Par 3 course and its many water hazards make it a true test for any golfer. It's more difficult than the Par 3 course but is not so hard that it will defeat the "average" player whose handicap is in the 15-25 range. However, even the better golfer will enjoy the course and will find that it's no pushover! There are also 9 shorter holes available to play on our Executive course which run alongside the current longer holes if you wish to play 9 different Par 3 style holes instead.
