Trummenäs Golfklubb

Tyvärr har vi ett väldigt dåligt intryck av Trummenäs gk. Sonen gick en gröntkort-kurs där det skulle ingå två st fadderrundor. Information kring hur det gröna kortet skulle tas var mycket bristfälligt. Efter flera försök att få kontakt med personen som hållit kursen, framgick att han nu var på semester i flera veckor framåt. När vi äntligen fick kontakt med en person i receptionen, berättade hon att om man kände någon med grönt kort, så kunde denna person gå fadderunda med sonen. Sagt och gjort, vi fixade fram en person som kunde gå fadderunda med honom. Väl på plats fick faddern betala 450 kr för att gå en fadderunda som skulle ingått i kursen. Efter har jag varit i kontakt med Trummenäs gk eftersom vi inte fått information om att det skulle kosta någonting eftersom den skulle ingått i gröntkort-kursen som sonen deltagit i. Helt nonchalant i bemötandet och tar ingen hänsyn till att de brustit i sin information eller ber om ursäkt för att det blivit fel. Jag rekommenderar starkt att inte bli medlem i denna klubb eller gå deras grönt-kort-kurser. Man får ingenting för det. Vi har nu valt att bli medlemmar i annan bättre klubb.

This course is the home course to one of my close friends which of course is talking fondly of it, I do however have to admit it is quite nice. The week when we played our rounds the greens were nicely manicured and as well as really fast due to a competition that was underway, making the rounds and overall experience really good. I read another review saying that the first 9 holes is quite dull, which to some degree I can understand. The course does have a few holes where you just have to play the course as it is, leaving little room for something to be done. I would however argue that it still provides opportunities to go for it but with the risk of being heavily penalized. Another aspect that makes the course vary is the wind that is always present somehow and can easily be 2-3 or clubs up or down depending on if you're hitting downwind or into it. So with water on the right, out of bounds on the left and a narrow fairway on hole 17 you are definitely up for a challenge if trying to go for a decent score.

This pretty much sums up my personal reflection and how I often found myself questioning what type of shot or distance I should go for. I would say this was because of rarely having a clear choice on landing zones and club selection, especially since I rarely benefitted from my longer distance on many holes. This was something that made me enjoy the course a lot.

In other words, the layout is probably not the most challenging but it is a great looking course with the wind always present to make it a bit trickier. Great greenskeeper and maintenance personnel leaving very little to complain about. I would definitely recommend going to Trummenäs as I prefer it to other courses nearby as well.

Första 9 är ganska intetsägande, sista 9 blir bättre. Alltför tröga greener.

Trevlig och utmande bana å mycket trevlig personal. Väl värt ett besök.

La primera impresión que sientes cuando llegas a este campo es que es un campo de golf muy plano, sin grandes obstáculos y con calles muy anchas, lo que hace que sea fácil jugar cada hoyo y si golpeas muy bien la bola, disfrutarás mucho las calles largas que tiene. Pero por otro lado tendrás también calles donde tienes que saber muy bien dirigir la bola para no encontrarte con alguno de los numerosos árboles que bordean esas calles. Por último tiene unos bunkers grandes y muy bien cuidados que dificultan muy bien el juego pero que lo hace muy divertido.

El campo tiene unas hermosas vistas al mar y se siente mucho la humedad marina, lo que se agradece mucho en estos días calurosos de Julio. La casa club y el restaurante tienen personal muy agradables con un menú muy variado y delicioso.
